1,400 Jobs At Catskill Resort Casino: Job Fairs In December

YORKTOWN, NY — The resort casino opening in the Hudson Valley will hold two job fairs in December. They're looking to fill about 1,400 positions at Resorts World Catskills before opening in March. The employment categories range from housekeeping, food and beverage, hotel operations, cage cashiering operations and finance to security, marketing and slot operations.

Sullivan County – Rock Hill
When: 12 noon to 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14
Where: Ramada at the Sullivan Event Center, 283 Rock Hill Drive, Rock Hill, NY

Orange County – Goshen
When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 16
Where: Emergency Services Center, 22 Wells Farm Road, Goshen, NY

“The dream of a resort casino in the Catskills is finally coming to fruition, and nothing makes it more real than 1,400 new jobs coming to the Hudson Valley,” said Charles A. Degliomini, executive vice president of Resorts World Catskills. “These are good paying positions with benefits. Anyone exhibiting talent and dedication can make a great career for themselves in this exciting industry.”

The four-season resort is being built about 90 miles from New York City. It will include an 18-story casino, hotel and entertainment complex, including an event center, an entertainment villa, a golf course, and an indoor waterpark lodge.

Prospective team members will have the opportunity to meet with leadership from Resorts World Catskills. All job candidates are advised to apply online for the positions they are interested in, prior to attending the job fair. Positions for which Resorts World Catskills is currently hiring are listed on this career web page.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and valid government issued identification to the job fair and be prepared for screening and interviews. On-the-spot conditional offers of employment will be made to qualified candidates.

Specific jobs will include housekeeping attendants, sous chef, bartenders, IT technicians, EMTs, security officers, cashiers, cooks and servers, among others.
