1000 Cancer Stories BOOK!

That's right! We are working on a book for our 1000 Stories that was born in Yorktown in 2017!

In the summer of 2017, this campaign was born. The intent of collecting 1,000 cancer stories & sharing them was clear- to create a support system for those going through similar experiences.
The campaign quickly became an important part of the discussion of cancer in our local community & it's time to continue to branch out. We're doing this by opening the dialog in a safe space, sharing our stories, helping others & strengthening our community. We hope you find a sense of comfort when you read each story by relating them to your own. We also hope that you find inspiration & strength to share your own story whether it's mailing one in, working with us by writing a blog post, creating a video. or being a part of our book!
The dream & goal: The book!
We have BIG dreams! Just picture it- an entire book filled with stories of the people we love the most in life. These stories will show the strength in fighting cancer, they will show how difficult it is when we lose somebody to cancer & the stories will prove that together- we're better than cancer.
We are looking to collect 100 unique stories & pictures for our book & this is where you come in! We are looking for stories from survivors & caregivers- anybody who feels ready to share their story! We will work with each individual to help with the creation of each story to make sure it is perfect.

To help us reach our goal of donations to fund the book- please visit click here! Every person who makes a donation- no matter what size- will be entered to win a copy of the book & will receive a special promo code to save on their copy!
