1000 Cancer Stories is Growing!

That's right! The 1000 Cancer Stories campaign that began in Yorktown this summer is expanding!
How did this begin?
In the summer of 2017, this campaign was born. The intent of collecting 1,000 cancer stories & sharing them was clear- to create a support system for those going through similar experiences.
The campaign quickly became an important part of the discussion of cancer in our local community & it's time to continue to branch out. We're doing this by opening the dialog in a safe space, sharing our stories, helping others & strengthening our community. We hope you find a sense of comfort when you read each story by relating them to your own. We also hope that you find inspiration & strength to share your own story whether it's mailing one in, working with us by writing a blog post or creating a video. We're here for every option & to guide you through the process.
