The Yorktown YAC 79er Football Team were crowned the 2011 Pumpkin Bowl Champions following a win over Bethel, CT, Nov. 12, 2011.

Ending a great year, the seven to nine year olds (all eight year olds for Yorktown) all took part in the win and it showed when the trophy filled with candy was presented and shared with the Bethel players. All sixteen players started the year and sixteen finished. All grew as football players, friends and teammates. None will forget the fun and pride they experienced playing their first year of football.
