Everyday Essentials: The 5 Minute Face
Raise your hand if you are in the habit of avoiding putting makeup on in the morning because it takes too long? I have good news – you only need a handful of products to get out the door looking pretty and rested. Even better news; these 5 items only take a few minutes to apply!
The first and most important step is concealer because it takes away those pesky under-eye circles and is handy for covering a blemish or for evening out a rosy complexion. Double-duty tip: apply concealer to your entire eye lid to look instantly brighter and more awake.
I find foundation or a tinted moisturizer with SPF makes a huge difference in making your skin look smooth and even. Choose a formula with hydration and sun protection and apply with a foundation brush for a light application or a sponge for more coverage.
You don’t need shadow and liner to make your eyes defined – you just need an amazing mascara. I recommend black for everyone or dark brown. Start from the root of your top lashes and roll the wand through the ends of lashes. This technique will separate the lashes and enhance your lash line without the need for eye liner.

Blush is an important element to give your cheek some contour and brightness. I prefer a sheer blush in a warm pink tone. For proper placement, smile and apply blush to apples of cheeks and blend toward the ear.
Lastly, apply something to your lips to complete your easy every day look. Choose a gloss in a shade or two darker than your natural lip tone or throw on some Chap Stick – healthy and hydrated lips are always in style.
