Music and Medicine: "Beethoven: Deafness and Creativity"

FREE and open to the public.
New York Medical College together with the Manhattan School of Music present Music and Medicine: “Beethoven: Deafness and Creativity” conducted by Stephen Moshman, M.D., of the Albert Einstein Symphony Orchestra and professor of clinical medicine at New York Medical College. Featuring the talents of Manhattan School of Music students: Evin Blomberg, violin; Goun Ha, violin; David Derrica, viola; and Jacob Nordlinger, cello. Coaches are David Geber, dean of instrumental performance/cello and chamber music faculty; and Nicholas Mann, string chair/violin and viola faculty.
NYMC security will reserve as many parking spaces as possible on the roadway in front of the MEC. If this fills up, Security will direct guests to the gravel area of the student housing parking lot. An officer will be posted at the top of the roadway to direct guests. Security is anticipating that guests will begin arriving around 11:30am and will stay a bit after the end of the program. The GPS address of the parking spaces available in front of the MEC is 30 Sunshine Cottage Rd, Valhalla, NY 10595.
