Blessing of the Backpacks at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown
Start the school year by having your kids' backpacks blessed at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown.
During both the 8:30 am and 10:45 am services at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown, on Sunday, September 20, students are invited to bring their backpacks for the blessing of the backpacks, as we celebrate the beginning of the school year. All are invited, regardless of religious background, racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or economic status.
The Church is located at 2880 Crompond Road in Yorktown, NY -- at the intersection of Routes 202/35 and 132.
