Police said there were other outstanding warrants for the defendant.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Carmel man was arrested for driving with a suspended license but he also allegedly had an active bench warrant and an arrest warrant to account for, Yorktown Police said. Lennox L. Miller, 41, of Fini Drive in Carmel was stopped by police around 6:48 p.m. May 4 after allegedly making a right turn at a red light on Route 6, disobeying a no-turn sign.

Police said a routine driver license check found that Miller allegedly was driving with a suspended license for failing to answer a summons and for failing to pay child support.

He also had a active bench warrant out of the Town of Carmel and an active arrest warrant out of New York City, both of which were for traffic offenses, police said.
