Two Presentations about the History of the Dam and the Croton Dam Ceremony are Coming
Celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the Croton Dam
Saturday, September 23 at 12:00, historian Cornelia Cotton will be addressing “Historic Prints of the Old Croton Aqueduct.” Hilltop Hanover Farm - at 1271 Hanover Street in Yorktown Heights – will be hosted this event in the classroom building. Sunday, October 8 at 3:00 PM at the old Croton Dam Gatehouse in Yorktown to commemorate the 175th Anniversary of the Croton Dam. Join State Senator Murphy, County Legislator Kaplowitz, County Legislator Testa, and Yorktown Councilman Lachterman in recognizing this momentous occasion. A reception will follow at Hilltop Hanover Farm – just five minutes away from the Old Croton Dam Gatehouse.
