Con Ed To Give Out Dry Ice In Westchester Saturday

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Con Edison will be distributing dry ice Saturday in the following locations:

• The Yorktown Green Shopping Center, 355 Downing Drive, in Yorktown Heights. Distribution will be from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. or when supplies run out.
• New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Ave., rear parking lot. Distribution will be from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. or when supplies run out.

Instructions for safe handling and disposal of dry ice are printed on the bag containing the ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be used only in well-ventilated areas. A reminder: children and pets should be kept safely away from dry ice.
