Cops Fill Up, Make Arrest at Route 6 Gas Station
State troopers were there to get gas when they checked on a car that had been at the pump for a while.....

On Aug. 8, New York State Police arrested a 19-year-old Mahopac man for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers fueling their patrol vehicle at the Mobil Gas Station on Route 6 in Carmel observed a vehicle at the pumps for about 15 minutes. As a trooper approached the Volkswagen to conduct a welfare check, the driver got out. Troopers interviewed him and detected signs that indicated he was intoxicated, they said.
He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Carmel Court on Aug. 25.
