Corporate Audio Visual Services Honored with 914INC. Small Business Award

Corporate Audio Visual Services was recently honored with a General Excellence Award at 914INC. Magazine's 2015 Small Business Awards.

Corporate Audio Visual Services was recently honored with a General Excellence Award at 914INC. Magazine’s 2015 Small Business Awards for their successes as a thriving business in Westchester County.

For the third year in a row, hundreds of nominations were submitted to Westchester Magazine publication, 914INC. Magazine, with intentions to highlight the achievements of small businesses all across Westchester. The only requirements were that the business was in operation for at least two years, had a team of fewer than 50 full-time employees, and maintained a physical location in Westchester.

After much consideration, 14 honorees were selected to receive awards in four categories: General Excellence, Outstanding Minority-Owned Small Business, Outstanding Nonprofit, and Outstanding Philanthropic Small Business. The winners were featured in a 914INC. issue on newsstands in August, and a cocktail reception was held at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains to celebrate the accomplishments of these prosperous local businesses.

Corporate Audio Visual Services was one of these honorees, and if you were to review their successes over the past years, it’s clear to see why. Since being honored with an Apex Award from the County Association in 2012, the Elmsford-based audio, video, lighting and staging company for live event product has produced over 1,200 events at 1,000 venues, including events for the Business Council of Westchester and Westchester County Association. They’ve added specialized contracts and become the official technology supplier for venues both in and around the Westchester area, and have raised millions of dollars for Westchester-based organizations, non-profits, and hospitals like ArtsWestchester, Blythedale Children’s Hospital, and Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley. They’ve continued to keep up with the rapid evolution of technology and have adapted to changes in the economy, all while maintaining the level of quality event production their clients’ have come to expect.

“Live Events is an exciting field and our people work very hard to help our clients produce successful results and stand out in the crowd,” said Joe Guilderson, President of Corporate AV. “It’s a great pleasure to accept this honor from 914INC.”
