Crews Still Working To Restore Power To Yorktown Customers
Monday's wind storm brought down trees, limbs and power lines.

YORKTOWN, NY — Con Edison said most customers still out of power in Yorktown would have their electricity restored by 11 p.m. Tuesday. More than 40,000 homes and businesses in the Hudson Valley lost power in Monday's wind storm.
According to the Con Ed outage list, as of 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, there are 229 customers in Yorktown without electricity.
Almost 2,000 Yorktown customers of NYSEG are waiting for the lights to come back on.

Two Yorktown NYSEG customers should see restoration by 9 p.m. Tuesday, and 1,952 Yorktown Heights NYSEG customers should have power restored between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.
