Dog Bites Man, Owner Charged: PD
The man said it was a neighbor's dog that bit him, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown woman whose dog bit someone, police said, was charged with a violation of the town code. Yorktown police said Tara Mann, 39, of Yorktown, was charged with allowing dog to run at large.
According to authorities, on Oct. 7 around 12:15 p.m., police went to New Chalet Drive for a report of dog bite which happened Oct. 2.
A man complained that he was bitten by a neighbor's dog while he was standing outside his home.

The investigation found that a brown beagle, owned by Mann, was running at large on the street and bit the neighbor.
Mann voluntarily appeared at police headquarters Thursday at which time she was served with a criminal summons.

She was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to answer the charges in court Nov. 21.
