Don't Forget: 9/11 Day of Service

One easy way to do #OneGoodDeed: go to the County Center Friday and do one or more projects for the hungry, for the troops, for children

There are lots of ways to participate in “9/11Serve + Remember” projects taking place throughout Westchester County Sept. 11-13.

9/11: Serve + Remember is an extension of the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This annual series of community action events is meant to provide all members of the community a meaningful way to give back through a variety of good deeds & service projects and honor the memories of those lost during the tragic events of September 11th, while also helping to build a new legacy around how we remember the date 9/11.

There are so many ways to do #onegooddeed!

The event took place outside the County Center in White Plains in order to encourage the public to participate in the “9/11 Serve + Remember” projects being organized throughout the county in honor of those whose lives were lost or forever changed by the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.
