IBM: The First Hundred Years

Program by the Yorktown Historical Society. “IBM: The First Hundred Years”. Presented by Ken Stevens, 30 year IBM employee, Society Board Member, and active in the SAR (Sons of Amer. Rev.) In 2011, IBM celebrated its 100 years as a corporation. In the early 1960‘s, IBM was “taking over” Yorktown and the area with many new buildings and occupied many others as well. Many IBM employees were moving into the area. Included will be the Centennial Video. Learn about the many different products areas IBM was involved in over the years as the innovation and growth continues today. Yorktown Hart Memorial Library, 1130 Main Street, Shrub Oak.
