Join Steve for a morning bird walk through the farm's pastures and hiking trails. Participants will work as a group to identify species and consider how habitat, weather, and other environmental factors influence the diversity of species and number of individuals observed. Come for a single bird walk or return as part of this monthly program offering to observe changes through the seasons. Observations will be logged into the eBird.org system, a real-time, online checklist program where observational data is collected for use by educators, land managers, ornithologists, and conservation biologists worldwide. In the event of rain, the walk will be re-scheduled for Sunday of the same weekend. Bird walks will depart from the Farm Stand.
