Fee Now Required to Use Yorktown Town Hall for Meetings, Groups
Liability was the issue raised by the town attorney.
YORKTOWN, NY — As of Feb. 1, anyone who wants to hold meetings or events at Yorktown Town Hall will have to pay a fee.
A resolution was recently passed by the town board to require a fee of $25 and the presentation of liability insurance for clubs or organizations desiring to utilize the town facility, according to an article at tapinto.net.
