Grange Fair recap -- contest winners

Audience participation contests at the Grange Fair are lots of fun year in and year out. It’s understandable that kids jump at the chance to go face first into a chocolate cream pie, but the adults follow suit with little reservation. (It helps that the kids go first with a promise that Mom or Dad will do it too).

So scroll through to see some very happy winners, from both the kids and adult divisions of a bunch of this years contests. Most of the pics are pretty obvious which contest they won, but just in case there’s any confusion, here’s a color key:

Orange ribbons -- pie eating contest

Purple ribbons -- watermelon eating contest

Pink ribbons -- bubble gum blowing contest

Blue ribbons -- balloon blowing contest

And yes, we did have a two time winner this year - that guy was REALLY hungry!
