Grange Fair -- Saturday's musical highlights

Strawberry Fields and Justin Veatch Fund teens impress

Saturday was a good day for great music: Overhill Shenanigans brought the enthusiasm for their noon show for children, The Justin Veatch Fund’s open mic format showcased some VERY talented local teen musicians, Andrea & The Armenian Rug Riders returned to the Grange Fair with a great set (I especially loved hearing them play the classic Heart tune “Barracuda”), and, despite the hard rain that fell before their set, this year’s headlining band – Strawberry Fields – took the stage shortly after 8pm and played a fabulous show for everyone who waited out the rain in the tents and exhibit halls. Here are a few photos of Saturday’s performances. Enjoy!
