Dennis DiSanto spent many a day during his long-storied career coaching the Somers Tuskers going against .

This year he coached against the Huskers again but this time it was as the Mahopac coach.
DiSanto and his Indians traveled to Yorktown Jan. 17 and picked up a 48-34 triumph against the Huskers.

One of the early highlights for the Huskers was when Steven Sabella and Thomas Murray gave Yorktown a 12-9 lead with back-to-back pins at 170 and 182 pounds, respectively.
Jordan Oliviera (120 pounds) and Kyle Santucci (132) also recorded pins for the Huskers.
Teammate Joe Mastro finished the dual meet at 145 pounds with a solid 16-6 major decision over Max Bachmier, who at 130 pounds placed fourth in the sectionals last year.

Lakeland girls hoops
Lakeland took on defending state Class A champion Peekskill and gave the Red Devils a good effort but fell 44-33 Jan. 17 at home.
Emily Alicea and Kate Weldon continued their fine seasons for the Hornets by scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.
