Lakeland/Panas' Chris Monteferante and Yorktown's Conor Gately and Frank Fusco were named US Lacrosse All-Americans according to LaxLessons.com. Monteferante will be taking his game to Army in college while Gately and Fusco are going to play at Marquette and Drexel respectively.

Women's Softball
Yorktown graduate Cassie Reilly-Boccia ('08) and her University of Alabama teammates defeated California 5-2 on Sunday to earn its first appearance in the Women's College World Series Championship Series according to its website.
