After losing to Garden City 10-8 in the state Class B semifinals last year at White Plains High School, Yorktown has been looking to avenge that loss ever since.
Now the Huskers have that opportunity tonight when they travel to Hofstra University to play in the state semifinals at 8 p.m. in a rematch against Garden City. That is a team many feel is the best in the nation according to Mike Dougherty's post on the LoHud Boys Lacrosse Blog.

Women's Softball
Yorktown graduate Cassie Reilly-Boccia ('08) and her University of Alabama teammates fell to Oklahoma 4-1 in Game 1 of the Women's College World Series championship finals on Monday night according to its website.
