Job Fairs For New Casino, Rye Playland Scheduled

YORKTOWN, NY — A business new to the region and one that’s been around for a while are both holding job fairs in the coming days and weeks. Westchester County will hold one more job fair to staff up for the 2018 season on Saturday, March 11 at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave. in White Plains.

According to information on Rye Playland's website, the seasonal positions looking to be filled include cashiers, rides, park management, lifeguards, information technology, marketing interns, electricians, carpenters, painters, plumbers, custodial, mechanics and EMTs.

The new business is Resorts World Catskills, which is looking to fill about 1,400 positions before it opens to the public for the first time Feb. 8, ahead of it previously announced March 1 opening.

The employment categories range from housekeeping, food and beverage, hotel operations, cage cashiering operations and finance to security, marketing and slot operations. Apply online here before attending the job fair.

If you can make it, there’s another job fair until 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 68 Crystal Run Road in Middletown today, Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Don’t despair if you can’t, because there another one Wednesday, Jan. 24 from noon to 7 p.m.

It will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott, 24 Crystal Run Crossing in Middletown.
