Lakeland Education Foundation Awards Education Grants

The LEF has now awarded more than $750,000 in grants to help enhance the educational experience of students in the district.

The Lakeland Education Foundation presented a $46,696 check to the Board of Education at its April 18, 2015 board meeting in support of their 2015 grants to educators in Lakeland. The Foundation recently awarded 15 grants for a variety of educational projects district wide.

Created in 1994, the Foundation has now awarded more than $750,000 in grants to help enhance the educational experience of students in the district.

Second Steps Program from Andrea Cooper, Beth Luft, Katharine Rodefeld, Kristal Halton, and Carmen Diaz of George Washington, Lincoln-Titus, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Van Cortlandtville elementary schools
