Letter to the Editor: Raniolo isn't Taking Down Abbate's Signs

The writer supports the incumbent Yorktown town justice.

To the Editor,

As a Yorktown resident for 39 years I have never seen a town justice work as hard and efficiently as Gary Raniolo. In the upcoming election he is being challenged by Richard Abbate.

Mr. Abbate has in my opinion stooped to the lowest levels by implying that his campaign signs are being removed by Gary Raniolo. That is questioning Mr. Raniolo’s moral character which is impeccable. Mr. Abbate doesn’t understand that signs don’t win elections. Experience and character do.

Additionally, to say he doesn’t take endorsements from various groups, I would love to know which ones he has turned down? Mr. Raniolo’s numerous endorsements are a credit to the fair and excellent job he has done and should be allowed to continue.
