Town officials said the pool will remain open to the public.
LEWISBORO, NY — A patron swimming at the Lewisboro town pool tested positive for the new coronavirus. Dana Mayclim, superintendent of parks and recreation, said the person's last visit to the pool complex was late Sunday afternoon.
In a posting directed to the town's friends and neighbors on the Lewisboro website, Mayclim wrote that it was immediately reported to the Westchester County Health Department and the town has been in contact with the person.
It was confirmed the patron is working with county contact tracers.

Mayclim said, after consulting with the county health department, it was determined the pool does not need to be closed.
"In an overabundance of caution we conducted an additional deep cleaning of our entire pool facility," she said. "In addition to our efforts, we would like to thank our patrons' efforts in social distancing, staying in their pods and facial covering at the pool."
