Mahopac Man Arrested For Driving With Suspended License, No Interlock Device
Police pulled him over for allegedly running a red light.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mahopac man faces criminal charges for not having a breath-alcohol detection device in his vehicle.
Yorktown Police said James Hosford, 35, of Hazel Hill Road in Mahopac, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle not equipped with an interlock device, both misdemeanors, and passing a steady red light, a traffic violation.
A police officer on routine patrol around 5:40 a.m. April 3 saw Hosford driving west on Route 6 while allegedly passing a red light.

A check of his driver’s license found Hosford was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
The vehicle he was driving allegedly did not have a breath-alcohol detection device which was a condition of his license.

Hosford was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets and was released after posting $145 bail.
Hosford is due to appear next in Yorktown Justice Court May 2.
