Men’s Softball: Ruby’s Boys Go Back to Back

Shell 7 Eleven defeated the Bench Warmers 4-3 in 10 innings to win the A Division title in the Yorktown Men’s Softball League on Thursday night for back-to-back championships.

"It was the most exciting game of the year," Shell 7 Eleven coach David Rubenfeld said.

Michael Rubenfeld, Vic Branciforti, Eric Bender, Jeff Silver, Rich Silver, Eric Seno, Tim Murphy, Mike Gimblette, Sal Ficarrotta, Chris McBride, Chris Rohle, Adam Rosen, Luke Wallace and Chad Wallace made up the Shell 7 Eleven squad.

Last year, when the team was named Fuelco, it won the title when it overcame a 16-11 sixth-inning deficit against The Firm to win 17-16.
