Outlet Bridge Dedicated In FDR State Park
The bridge is over the outlet stream of Crom Pond.β

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY β A bridge dedication ceremony was held at the FDR State Park Saturday, July 29. Participants me at the French Hill School Parking Lot located on Baldwin Road and then walked a little less that a mile into the park to celebrate the completion of the bridge over the outlet stream of Crom Pond.
The Friends of FDR State Park said they were grateful for all the help from FDR State Park employees and volunteers from the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
Organizers said access between the developed facilities in the park and Baldwin Road is now complete.

The 32-foot bridge and the 30-foot and 50-foot approach boardwalks span the outlet stream of Crom Pond.
The Friends of Franklin D. Roosevelt is a non-profit group formed to provide a voice for the Parkβs unique and diverse resources, according to a spokesperson. Their goal is to provide opportunities for people to develop a special relationship with the park and to contribute to the parksβ programs and stewardship.
