Overflow Crowd Attends Egg Hunt at Hilltop Hanover Farm
Over 140 families enjoyed finding plastic eggs filled with candy and visiting the Easter bunny
Hilltop Hanover Farm’s Egg Hunt Sells out!
Hilltop Hanover Farm of Yorktown Heights held its annual egg hunt on Saturday, March 31. The event was sold out, for over 140 families pre-registered for the event. Unfortunately, some none registered guests were turned away because the parking areas were full.
Over 2000 eggs were filled with candy by Hilltop Hanover Farm volunteers during the week. At 11:00, the children – grouped by age – calmly walked through the designated egg areas and easily picked up a minimal of 10 plastic eggs. The Easter bunny was in attendance and patiently posed with the children for parental and grandparent memories. After the egg hunt, most families spent time visiting the chickens, goats, and cows. A number of families also visited the farm stand, which officially opens during “Farm Fest” on Saturday, June 2. After picking up plastic eggs, some families purchased freshly laid Hilltop Hanover Farm eggs at the farm stand.
