Raniolo Rolls in Re-Election Bid

Yorktown Town Justice Gary J. Raniolo wins re-election in convincing manner

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Incumbent Town Justice Gary J. Raniolo was elected to another four-year term with a resounding victory over Democratic challenger Richard Abbate. While results are not yet official, all 43 districts have reported. Raniolo received 4,641 votes, for 64 percent, to Abbate’s 2,604 votes, representing 36 percent.

“For the last four years, I have had the privilege and honor to serve as a Yorktown Town Justice, and I am very grateful for the trust the voters of Yorktown showed in me when first elected in 2011 and now again in 2015, said Judge Raniolo.

On behalf of myself and my campaign committee, I want to thank everyone for all your efforts during my re-election campaign for Yorktown Town Justice. Thanks to the hard work of my family, friends, committee members, volunteers and supporters, we celebrated a great victory on Election Night and I am most grateful. The election was not about lawn signs and endorsements of my candidacy, but about honesty, integrity, experience and service to our community.

· Providing reasonable access to the Court; and

· Bringing a focus on our youth.

Since that time I have worked diligently with many of you on fulfilling my campaign pledge and have delivered on those commitments. Today I pledge to continue that work, especially those efforts in support of our young people in our community. When it comes to our youth, law enforcement, service organizations and the education community will continue to know that they have an ally with Judge Raniolo.”
