Save A Life to Present Workshop Educating Teens About Emergency Room Visits From Alcohol and Drug Overdoses

Save A Life will be held on April 2, 2017 at Lakeland High School. This free event is designed to empower and inform community members.

Ever wonder what happens when someone overdoses on drugs or alcohol?

At Save A Life, Casey Forde, MSN RN, and Justin Costable, Manager of Emergency Services at NY Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, will educate teens about the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse and overdose so that they have the tools they need to know when to seek help from emergency services. Learning these tools can help a teen save the life of a friend.
