Girls Lax

The location and day of the Lakeland/Panas' Section 1 Class A girls lacrosse championship game has been changed because four of the six semifinals scheduled for Monday were postponed by rain and moved to Tuesday according to laxlessons.com.

The No. 1 Rebels will now play No. 2 North Rockland at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Fox Lane High School. The game, as were the Class B and Class C title contests, were originally scheduled for today at Suffern Middle School. 

More Changes

The schedule for the beginning of the Section 1 baseball tournaments were also changed because of the weather according to MSG Varsity.

Lakeland and Yorktown both had their schedules affected because of the changes.

Lakeland

The No. 10 Hornets were supposed to host No. 23 Brewster in an Class A out-bracket contest yesterday at 4:30 p.m. but instead that will now take place today.

Yorktown

No. 12 Yorktown's Class AA opening-round game scheduled for today at No. 5 New Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. will now instead take place on Thursday.
