Sober house hearing adjourned to May 6
Town Board heard more testimony for and against the sober house and supervisor said he won't recuse himself. Efforts are under way to clean up Mohegan Lake. $1million taken from fund balance to pay for unanticipated outstanding pension bills.

Trump Park sales building: Condo owners at Trump Park asked the town not to interfere with the issue of the future of the "temporary" sales building and Supervisor Grace repeated his position that he believes the building should be preserved and used for a municipal purpose.
Mohegan Lake: Representatives of the Mohegan Lake Improvement District advised the board of their efforts to address the lake’s phosphorous problem that has closed the lake for swimming for two consecutive summers.
2. Public hearing scheduled for stop signs
The board voted to hold a public hearing on April 15 to consider proposed stop signs at various intersections on Oslo Drive, Loder Road and two on Northridge Road.
3. Budget transfer
The board approved taking $1.1 million from the fund balance to cover unanticipated expenses, including $972,000 for pension payments that Supervisor Grace said were to correct a state miscalculation in the town’s 2011 pension bill.
5. Convalescent Home Public Hearing
Additional arguments were heard for and against the proposed special permit. At approximately 11pm, having given all persons who had signed up at the previous meeting an opportunity to speak, the hearing was adjourned to May 6.
