Somers Meeting To Discuss Algonquin Pipeline
About 2.5 miles of pipe under Somers is proposed to be replaced.

SOMERS, NY — A community meeting will be held in Somers to discuss potential health and community impacts from the expansion of the Algonquin Pipeline. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Dec. 4 in the cafeteria of Somers Intermediate School.
Plans call for replacing 2.5 miles of aging 26-inch pipeline running under Somers with 42-inch pipe, tapinto.net said.
Speaking at the meeting will be cancer researcher and co-founder of Safe Energy Rights Group Courtney Williams.
