Somers Not Keen On Extending Heritage Hills Sewer System

One supervisor said it's not a done deal.

SOMERS, NY — The Town of Somers is not in favor of plans that Carmel has for sending its waste into the Heritage Hills sewage facility which is over the county line. Somers Supervisor Rick Morrissey told Carmel Supervisor Kenneth Schmitt that the town has no interest in extending the Heritage Hills sewer system.

That doesn’t mean Schmitt won’t try to reach an agreement with Somers, tapinto.net said. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
