Somers and Yorktown's Forecast: Unsettled with a Cooldown

After a day of stormy weather, the work week weather forecast begins with a very calm summer-like day on Monday, but then we’re looking at a chance for some unsettled weather during the middle of the week.

After the unsettled weather rolls by later this week, the temps also drop significantly too.

But overall not a bad a week of weather for early June.

• Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. West winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
• Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of showers. Lows in the mid 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Tuesday-Partly sunny with a chance of showers. A chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
• Tuesday Night-Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening...then partly cloudy after midnight. Lows in the mid 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
• Wednesday-Partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 70. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
• Wednesday Night-Mostly cloudy in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s.
• Thursda-yMostly sunny. Highs around 70.
• Thursday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s.
• Friday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s.
• Friday Night-Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.
