Speed Week: State Police Issue 61 Tickets on I-684 Aug. 6

State Police Somers conducted a Speed Enforcement Initiative focusing on Interstate 684 between 9AM and 3PM Aug. 6.

The State Police issued a total of 61 tickets, the majority for speeding.

This highway safety initiative perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement.
