Not the greatest weekend forecast for certain -- what's with that arctic front? At least it’s not snow.
We’ll see rain chances both Friday and Saturday, and the good news is it’s dry on Sunday -- but -- it’s also a lot colder on Sunday and Monday.

"The first half of Saturday looks very nice, with a good deal of sunshine," says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "But an arctic front moves toward our area during the afternoon, and that will bring with it the threat of showers and thunderstorms for the 2nd half of the day.
Sunday evening, temps could dip close to 40 degrees for parts of the Hudson Valley.

The latest National Weather Service forecast for northern Westchester County:
- Tonight-Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening...then partly cloudy after midnight. Areas of fog in the evening. Lows in the lower 50s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
- Saturday-Sunny in the morning...then mostly cloudy with showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 70. West winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming southwest with gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.
- Saturday Night-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the evening. Lows in the mid 40s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 50 percent.
- Sunday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
- Sunday Night-Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s.
