Summer Trails Day Camp Launches Annual Pumpkin Mash

Summer Trails Day Camp, in Somers, NY, launches annual pumpkin mash, while giving back to the United States Military Troops.

Halloween may be over, but that doesn’t mean the spooktacular, autumn festive fun must end! Summer Trails Day Camp, located in Somers, NY (93 Mahopac Avenue), is pleased to announce its annual Pumpkin Mash. This event brings family and friends together across the community, while giving back to the United States military troops.

On Friday, November 3 from 3:30PM to 5:00PM, Summer Trails Day Camp will host an afternoon of pumpkin launching, smashing and games. Don’t have a pumpkin, but want to participate in the smashing excitement? Summer Trails Day Camp will have plenty of pumpkins for attendees!

In addition to pumpkin launching, Summer Trails Day Camp will be hosting a Halloween candy drive in support of Operation Gratitude, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, volunteer-based organization that delivers over 250,000 care packages with personal letters to U.S. service members. Bring leftover, sealed Halloween candy in a disposable bag and, for each pound donated (up to five pounds), participants may choose one item out of the prize bin. Art supplies will be provided at the Pumpkin Mash for children to create thank you cards for U.S. troops. The cards will then be shipped along with the candy to our active service men and women. Can't make it to the smash? Drop off your candy at Summer Trails Day Camp any time before November 10th!
