Police said the Peekskill teen was also driving while his license was suspended.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 19-year-old was accused of driving with a suspended license and driving above the speed limit in a school zone. Yorktown police charged Lorenzo D. McCoy, 19, of Peekskill, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and speeding in a school zone, a traffic infraction.

Police said, around noon April 1, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Lexington Avenue of a car he said was going 45 mph in a 15 mph school zone.

A routine check of McCoy's license found he was operating the vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended two time for failing to answer summonses, police said.
