Burke and Boyle pace Yorktown girls basketball: Yorktown Daily Sports Digest, Jan. 20

Yorktown girls hoops

Yorktown's girls basketball team played a tough game against a solid host Croton-Harmon squad but fell 44-34 victory Jan. 18.

Grace Mulligan led the Tigers with 19 points with teammate Kate Dymes contributing 11 points.

Leading Yorktown was Jennifer Burke with 13 points and Kristen Boyle, who registered 12 points.

Alicea leads Hornets

Emily Alicea led Lakeland with 16 points in its 45-38 loss at Hendrick Hudson Jan. 18.

Yorktown wrestling ranked

Yorktown's wrestling team has enjoyed a great campaign so far this winter and has been rightfully acknowledged by MSG Varsity with inclusion in its poll.

The Huskers are ranked eighth in the latest poll.
