Traffic Stop Yields Drug Charge For Cortlandt Manor Man
The officer was on routine patrol.

YORKTOWN, NY — Dark tinted windows of a vehicle led to the arrest of a Cortlandt Manor man on a drug charge.
Yorktown Police said Andrew J. Obrien, 29, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
A Yorktown officer observed the vehicle which allegedly had darkened windows and initiated a traffic stop.

An investigation found Obrien was allegedly in possession of 2.82 ounces of marijuana.
He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department.

Obrien was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court April 11.
