Trio Arrested in Connection with Strong-Arm Robbery

The alleged crime occurred at the Croton Falls train station on Oct. 7.

Three suspects were arrested on a felony charge of second degree Robbery in connection with an alleged strong-arm theft on Oct. 7 at the Croton Falls train station.

Arrested were Michael Owoo, 21, of North Salem; Sean M. McCoyd, 22, of Garden City, NY; and Ronnie E. Foskey, 21, of Roslyn, NY.

According to state police, on Oct. 7 at approximately 7:50 p.m., Owoo, with the assistance of Foskey, “forcibly stole property from the victim before fleeing the scene in a vehicle that was operated by McCoyd.”

The victim and Owoo know each other, state police said, and the victim followed the trio and dialed 911 for assistance.

“Police Officers from the North Salem Police Department observed the suspect vehicle on Bogtown Road and stopped it,” said state police. “Foskey and McCoyd were taken into custody, Owoo fled from the vehicle prior to the stop and was later taken into custody by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.”

Owoo, Foskey and McCoyd were arraigned before the Town of North Salem Court. Owoo was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail. Foskey was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $2,000 bail. McCoyd was released after posting $500 bail.
