Lakeland Volleyball Clinics for Elementary and Middle School Girls, April 15 and 22

Lakeland Central School District is offering elementary and middle school girls an opportunity to learn how to play volleyball. Joe Felipe, head volleyball coach, at Walter Panas High School, will be running two FREE volleyball clinics this spring.
The clinics will be held on Sunday, April 15 and Sunday, April 22. There will be two sessions each day.

The first session from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. is offered to students in grades 2nd through 5th. The second session from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is offered to students in grades 6th through 8th.

Lakeland/Panas is No. 2 in Class A and No. 5 overall.

Women's Softball
Host No. 2 Alabama defeated No. 21 LSU, 6-0, in front of 2,684 fans at Rhoads Stadium on Sunday (April 8).
Cassie Reilly-Boccia (Yorktown '08) scored a run and walked for the Alabama in its victory.
Alabama improved to 37-2 on the year, and 14-2 in Southeastern Conference play, while the Tigers dropped to 29-10 overall and 11-3 in league play.
