Wenzel Goes 4 for 4 in Win: Yorktown Daily Sports Digest March 16

Welcome to Patch's daily snapshot of sports in Yorktown.

Women's Softball

Erica Wenzel (Yorktown '10) is a member of the Muhlenberg College softball squad.

Wenzel helped her team tremendously by going 4-for-4 and in addition was in the middle of rallies in all four of her at-bats in Muhlenberg's 9-0 win at Elizabethtown on March 14. She scored runs in the first and sixth and drove in runs in the second and fourth innings.

Lax Rule Adjustments 

The Yorktown and Lakeland/Panas boys lacrosse squads will have to get used to some adjustments to the rules that are being made this year, with the biggest among them being the elimination of the 10-second count after the initial touch.
