Wenzel picked up the second all-conference honor of her career after raising her batting average by 100 points from a year ago and finishing second on the team in batting and runs scored. A 2011 second-team selection at second base, she ranks amongst the conference leaders in average (11th, .369), runs scored (t-6th, 32), triples (t-6th, 3), hits (7th, 48) and assists (7th, 74).
She is just the second player in school history to score at least 30 runs in a season twice and already ranks in the top 15 on the Mule career runs scored list.
Muhlenberg finished one game shy of a Centennial Conference playoff berth after posting a 10-6 mark in conference play. The Mules broke the school record for walks in a season and tied the mark for home runs.
They also scored the second-most runs in one campaign to finish the year 19-19 overall.
