Relay for Life of Yorktown is celebrating our 12th year in the fight against cancer!

What is Relay for Life?

Relay for Life is the largest global fundraising event! Relayers from all around the world fundraise year round to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Funds raised go to not only groundbreaking cancer research, but to fund local programs in our community. Cancer patients can have access to free rides to & from treatment, long term housing through the Hope Lodge, free wigs, 24/7 information center & MORE!

Why join?

Our Relay for Life community in Yorktown is powerful! Thousands of people come out to enjoy a wonderful night but to also support our survivors, remember our lost ones & fight back to one day live in a world where the words "you have cancer" are not as scary as they are today. Become a part of our community & support system!

Who can join?

Anybody & Everybody! That's right, we have Relayers of all ages join us year after year. It's a perfect way to get your kiddos involved in giving back. Our youth volunteers are some of the most important volunteers we have!

What do I have to raise?

There is no minimum or maximum amount you have to raise! Team members who'd like a Relay t-shirt do need to be in our HOPE Club which means they've raised $100! But otherwise, we encourage you to hit any goal you set. Remember- every dollar counts in the fight against cancer!

So how can I sign up?

It's easy! Visit www.relayforlife.org/YorktownNY and join our Relay! You can start a new team or join a friends team! If you're looking to fundraising individually- you can join our "Calling All Superhero" team which will be a collection of individual fundraisers!
