YAC Parade and Picnic 

The Yorktown Athletic Club will have its annual parade and picnic April 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Navajo Fields.

Boys Lacrosse

Lakeland/Panas defeated visiting Brewster 9-4 on April 5.

The Rebels were led by Tony LaGuerre, who tallied two goals and three assists with teammate Brian Prunty registering one goal and two assists according to LoHud.com.

Section 1 Football 

High school football in this area may not start its regular season until September but the pigskin is always on the minds of its fans 12 months of the year.

With that being the case, Josh Thomson of the LoHud Varsity Insider Blog did a great job of going over what the issues are in getting a schedule in place for the upcoming Section 1 season.
